AFRICOM to Hold Industry Day

The Headquarters, United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM), plans to host an Industry Day, with a tentative date of 9-10 December 2013. For planning purposes, they are gathering information on potential number or head count of business or commercial entities that may be interested in participating in the Industry Day. Interested parties may send their intent to participate to the following e-mail addresses:

The two-day, USAFRICOM Industry Day in December will be held in Stuttgart, Germany. Specific details of the event, including time and location will be determined at a later date. Day One will primarily focus on mobility and transportation; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); and personnel recovery/casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) industry and logistics capabilities available to support USAFRICOM objectives on the continent. The emphasis of Day Two will be on general logistics capabilities on the African continent.
